I am struggling with this cause I’m snacking during the night. Have woken up in the morning to find I have snacked on almost half a block of chocolate

I have a binge eating disorder and currently in treatment. We have been doing mindful eating. We say where we are on a hunger scale, set an intention for the meal, then try to give yourself some time for your stomach catches up. If it’s snacking, I don’t have it in sight, that seems to help! Just also yourself to enjoy a treat and don’t restrict yourself. ❤️

Wherever the food is, put it somewhere else. Put it behind something/put it up high or low/bury it under less desirable stuff/etc. Out of sight out of mind. I'll give it to someone else to hold onto it or (if I'm strong enough) I just won't buy it. You do you❤️
