Connecting with people on phone or in person

One of the hardest parts of my job is asking people to invest money. And also selling myself and my projects. I think I’m actually good at it, but I hate the thought and action and especially the transition right before doing it. I duck and try to do it by email but I find that real success comes from phone calls and meetings and zooms. In person, I awaken something inside myself that gives me new energy. I have read and seen evidence the human connections fuel recovery from ADD/ADHD hiding out. I believe I will keep practicing getting out in the world.

Ha, I can totally relate to that! I’m always avoiding phone calls because I am afraid somehow but afterwards I’m often very surprised how much I liked to talk … and how nice people are … but am I afraid of the next call? Oh yes 🙈.
