Get Help!!! Ok so I was on ADHD meds my entire childhood when I turned 18 I said forget this!!! By 20 I was an addict I worked 2 jobs took care of my 4 kids so in my head I didn’t have a problem but I would work more and more to make the money to continue my addiction
.. at 31 I found an amazing man and I was perfect to him but he didn’t know I had a mask on. He was an ex officer and still worked in law enforcement but never knew I had a problem
anyways opioids got harder to find and I got on the blues for 6 weeks only 6 weeks 2020 that’s all it took Dec 2020 I got COVID plus was on blues I oded and my son found me (he now deals with really bad anxiety attacks) since then I have been on subs to take the withdrawals away and I am going on 3 years clean and now I also added a little girl she is 1 and 1/2 yrs old and I wouldn’t change a thing
. I put my boys, family and bf through so much but they have stuck by me
.. I’ve always stuck to myself to where my family didn’t know how bad I was they knew I used but didn’t know how bad my demons where
my advice is don’t be scared to look for help it’s out there!!! Also you aren’t alone theirs many ppl you think aren’t there that are and love you deeply!!!! Never give up

I get it. I kinda don’t wanna even start going down that road because no good story ever starts with a salad recipe right?

If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to steer clear of any procedures rehabilitation programs or "tough love" types... stick to the 12 step process and you can make it work

I have 11 months clean but I am all too familiar with struggling. Rehab helped me clean up, 30 days is a long time but I’ve been sober ever since. If you ever wanna just vent or chat hmu

I don’t count days clean. I have an estimate but counting makes it feel longer. Most important thing I think is acknowledging relapse is part of the process
