Can’t communicate with loud background noises

I just want to vent how frustrating it is when ordering food or talking to someone in general when there is a loud noise in the background or a lot going on. I don’t understand how others do it but whenever I do I just glitch 😭 what I dread most is taking my animals to the vet with all the barking, people letting their dogs come up to my dogs without permission, and still have to converse with the receptionist. So overstimulating

I gave in last month to headphones within the moments im overwhelmed it helps reduce noise by like a good chunk. The noise canceling option because I felt tooo ev3n at home when the TV is loud but feels like it blasting and especially if theirs other little noises around omG 😳 ( it's called I believe something around the words; sensory processing disorder /sensitivity)

My dog and I ate the same way. And I include my dog because she’s a reflection of me at this point. We’re both distracted and bothered while being overstimulated
