I hate when I get a depressive episode....

Every once in a while, I get into a severe depressive episode, and in turn, it causes my ADHD symptoms to become severe. I know I need to get things done. My house being messy bothers me, but I just can't get out of bed. I'm a mom of 3 and my boyfriend doesn't understand that I want to do the tasks, but sometimes I can't and he just makes me feel worse. I don't know what to do.

This is how I feel almost everyday. I don’t know where to start. Something so simple is so hard to do, so I just lay down and watch tik tok

If you are on facebook or instagram, check out a group called ADHDoers. It's an awesome group. Also there is a group called Neurodivergent cleaning crew. 100% non-judgmental forum for tips on getting through the difficulties of housekeeping for those of us who are ND. It's a slow process to work through, but you have to take tiny baby steps. And don't judge yourself by neurotypical standards! You got this!

I understand. Ive got those „episodes“ too most of the time after a day were i was off and didnt do nothing

Just wanted to show you some love. Try getting your BF educated abt ADHD & Depression. I’m hoping he is open to learn about how your symptoms affect you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
