I like my job and for the most part I’m very productive, but I have one task. I have to do every day that boards made a tears. I keep stopping and looking at my phone or doing other things cause I just don’t wanna do it.

Ich habe einen Timer auf 20 Minuten gestellt. Normalerweise, wenn ich einmal angefangen habe, ist alles in Ordnung. Es ist der Anfang, der schwerfällt.

Some people time themselves and see if they can beat their times. Like you just use a regular stopwatch to track how quickly you can get through it. But in all honesty, work can be boring. That’s why they have to pay you to do it! 😂😂
Depends what it is, but sometimes music, gamify it, pretend I’ve got my own cooking channel (lol, if I’m cooking). I think the thing is best to figure out what ignites you and to reverse engineer it into boring stuff. Is there anything you specifically need help with?
I do quality assurance in an office. So I basically check the work of each department. This one department is data entry and I have to make sure it’s done correctly and it bores me!

@ember Verwende auf jeden Fall Musik, mit der du dich gut konzentrieren kannst, um es zu schaffen. Benutze kabellose Ohrhörer. Wenn sich jemand beschwert, sag ihm, dass du die Musik brauchst, um diese Aufgabe zu erledigen (( oder sie können es selbst machen!! lol )).
Kämpfst du mit etwas, möchtest du eine Geschichte oder einen Tipp erzählen? Teile alles mit anderen ADHS-Betroffenen.
