So I guess in order to stay motivated I should do a a highly rewarding activity, then do one that is less rewarding. It’s funny, since I was having my students do this in my sped class but now I see it applies to me as well. This is where I skateboard early mornings.

I teach sped, too, and have realized that some of the techniques I use with them I also use with me. Finding what is actually rewarding enough to be motivating for me is often difficult. So far, the only thing that works for me is accountability to another person.
