Hi, I don’t have a cleaning routine (my husband and I chose to pay someone for cleaning our house as soon as we could afford it… I know we’re lucky to have that option…) but I do have a trick for keeping the house tidy that could help : the cleaning playlist ! You choose about 4 songs that give you the right energy for cleaning, and for about 15 mn, you devote yourself to making your space neater and cleaner. Good luck !

One thing I learned to do is wipe down the shower every day after using it. I have a little squeegee in the shower for drying off the tiles and I wipe down the chrome with my towel. That way it never gets stained and regular cleaning is sooo much quicker, because you don’t have to battle water stains, just clean for "germs”.

I’m still working on my routine too. When I’m stressed everything breaks down, but I think the better my routines are the faster I’m getting back on track. Do you know FlyLady? It’s a system where you have focus on one room per week and do 15 min per day. With the time you will have it like you want it. No perfectionism! But for me the highest priority of everything what has to do with cleaning is to declutter your stuff. You’re ready much faster if you have less stuff!

Oh, you made me curious about the FlyLady and my partner and me just decided to try it out! Today we started with the first session together and it feels good. Hope we can keep it up! Because my mess is getting on his nerves while he’s always focusing on the same things to clean (and forgets the rest 😝) - so let’s hope it works 😁

I still train to get better but so far grouping things or zoning works. Like cleaning the kitchen. Everything that doesnt belong there gets into a box to move after cleaning the kitchen. Or connecting specific chores to days like toilet tuesday, so tuesday I clean all toilets. Or have a look into the Youtube chanel Clutterbug. She has also great tips
