I’m always embarrassed when someone looks at my computer because I have about a hundred tabs open all at once and people are usually horrified. Things I part read and think I’ll come back to, or thing I just want accessible. Anyone else do this?

Omg!! I totally do this all the time!! I'm glad I'm not alone on this one! Lol
I'm studying software engineering and since programming is 90% googleing, I need quite a lot of active tabs. Bookmarking them, as was suggested before, is not a bad way to deal with this problem. However, after just a week or so you might find yourself diving through a sea of bookmarks to find the one you were looking for - I speak from personal experience :) If you're using Firefox, I'd recommend a plug-in called "Tree Style Tabs". It's absolutely fantastic and I'm sure you can find it (or some alternative) on the chrome store, too. I still use bookmarks for sites I visit every day. For news articles you want to save for later specifically, Firefox has a feature called "Pocket". I don't use it, but it looks quite useful. Hope that helps! :)

This is totally common and hopefully people are ACTUALLY judging you. You could group your tabs into windows so that when someone walks up to your computer they only see the active window. And try to set aside a time each week to sort through and exit out of some or move some to bookmarks if you know you won’t be getting to it for a WHILE but still don’t wanna lose it

Not in my computer but in my phone I do. Rn I have so many tabs open that chrome has just stopped giving me a number and just gives me a smiley face so it’s probably near 200 or so
Try saving them as a favourite. It will make sure you only have what you are working on right now open, but you will be able to go back to the other pages if you need to
