Paying fines

Does anyone else have a tough time paying parking/speeding etc fines. I feel like whenever I receive a fine I majorly procrastinate or totally forget about it until I eventually I get a final notice and the fine doubles in size. Idk what it is but every time I end up paying more for the fine and it makes me feel so bad. Recently had a parking fine go from $90 to $250 :/

YES!!!!! Literally just got a notification from collections that they may be filing civil suit for like $600 that was origionally $200 or less to the City for parking violations, that I had every intention of paying.

I think it's called the “ADHD tax”. Late fees, parking ticket issues, not returning stuff in the proper window. It adds up pretty fast.

Absolutely yes, I just got a late letter in the mail regarding a parking ticket I got a month ago that’s been just sitting on my desk waiting to be paid.

It's like that with most bills too honestly. I keep forgetting they exist and then I get notices that I'm late

Yes! I lost a parking ticket somewhere and I tried calling them and they never got back to me so there is just a parking ticket that I never paid lmao
