I believe it's what happens to me too...the first story I open plays just fine, but if I open a second one the sound disappears. Never understood why...if I close the app and open again the sound reappears...

I found the story, that’s my inexperience with the app but I looked in settings and my audio is on my phone volume is up, so not sure what’s doing on I will screen shot what I have
