Can ADHD be silenced?
As in “is it possible to teach your children to behave, even if they are active to begin with?” The reason why I (F34) ask is because I kind of am that child. I am calm, have a stabile mood, and is able to sit on my chair for a long amount of time. All because I was raised in that way, where it was ok to beat those who barely stepped out of line. I just wonder if there are more people like me, who is able to sit still (but is absolutely chaotic on he inside)?

I have a kid Who we suspect might also have ADHD like myself. And I was raised like you others, but i went to the creative side, and want to motivate and inspire him to do good! The strugle is a healthy sign but for us i talk and explain My feelings and behavior to him. Make it revers, so he understands why its wrong. It is tiresome yes! But i notice not offen the same explenations needed 💪😁 And then i fokus on how i can motivate him to do good! 😁😁 just like with ourselfs 🙃
