Emotion mapping and CBT

Kind of a rant! So I just used the emotion mapping tool, and I can tell it’s a CBT technique, partly because of how it immediately pissed me off. Anyone else extremely dislike CBT therapy and find it very gaslighty and useless for them? I understand how it might work for other people but I can’t just “change” my thoughts or feelings. I’m just so over CBT being the default therapy for everything. I would love to see some other therapy techniques in here, maybe DBT or IFS. Again, if you find CBT helpful, good!! Keep doing it if it works for u!
