ADHD paralysis

Welp, here I am, on the couch having no idea what I have done today but still it is almost 3.30 pm. I have been all around the house but obviously not been very productive. Upstairs sits several doom piles waiting for my attention but I can not seem to get to it. How can I give my self a kick in the butt to get going? I would like to get some of it out of the way before family comes home (I am on sick leave for burnout btw) thankssss

I usually put on music, but I like to dance to just to get me up. Then set a timer and give myself a reward once I’m that timer goes off.

Keep a simple record of energy and you’ll get to know when’s a good time to get as much stuff done as possible, and when to snooze on the sofa. If you’re female, then this is particularly useful! If you’re female and menstruating learn your cycle and how it impacts ADHD. Eg the week before your period FORGET IT. The week of your period it starts to get a bit better. The week after that is the week when you really need to do stuff. Then it starts to slide down again. I don’t know if males go through a cycle too. X

I’d address the burnout issue first.

Choose one doom pile and ignore the others maybe?👀 and have a cookie while completing the task (or afterwards)
