Yes !! Definitely I was just thinking about this other day 🤔💭 That’s why on this app trying reset myself the results so far are really changing my life it is great, I am motivated getting out of bed, made a dirty list, a morning routine , housework is fun time challenge. I notice when I’m burnt out from work or uni work, the worst of my adhd gets heightened

It’s funny you should say that. I know I had hyperactive type of ADHD when I was in elementary school but it seemed to fade as I got older. However, I started getting symptoms again in my late 50’s. It’s lots of fun!

It’s been said that treatment for ADHD is the only way to keep it from getting worse.. but in that same breath it’s also said that not all ADHD can be treated the same. Some people got worse even while medicated because it wasn’t the right treatment. One guarantee though is that untreated ADHD gets worse, and it doesn’t seem to have a limit to how bad it can get.

I agree. Probably one of the reasons why many of us got diagnosed only later in life when things got worse.

I’ve heard that menopause exacerbates ADHD symptoms.

Yes and it feels like I’m in a race against everyone else and they’re all just passing by me like I’m just standing still. Like everyone is way more accomplished than me.
