Question about new diagnosis

Hello, so I just got diagnosed by my therapist. My therapist isn’t practicing in my state and can’t prescribe meds. I am also about to lose my current employer health insurance as it is too expensive for them to maintain. I don’t want to bring it up to my primary because I don’t want to start treatment and then not be able to follow up. Thoughts? Advice? Things that helped with all the feels that come with the diagnosis?
