Chronic pain blues

One of the biggest challenges I’ve found with having ADHD and chronic pain is when your body and brain can’t function in unison. Like, today I’m highly motivated to get things done, but I can’t physically do any of the things I want to accomplish.

I feel you. 43 and I have chronic pain issues. I have been diagnosed with adult ADD. My children both have ADHD. I am always tired. Cymbalta sent me for a loop

I have hypermobility and feel like I’m falling apart. First it was my knee. Then from overcompensating for my knee, my SI joint on the other side started hurting. Now my shoulder has started dislocating for fun. Like, I’m walking and boom it slides out. My physical medicine doctor wants me to have my psych maybe switch me from Zoloft/lamictal to cymbalta for the pain.

I have been there. Go easy on yourself and count what would normally be little wins as big on those days. One day at a time
