Anyone use natural remedies for symptoms? Esp brain fog!

I’m wanting to get diagnosed, but dr won’t give me one. Says anxiety/depression is to blame for how I feel- (I fit most adhd/executive dysfunction- but I also have fibromyalgia which can cause similar symptoms.) what kind of supplements, herbs, tinctures, ect do you take to help sx control? I currently am taking mushroom gummies (lions mane, nootropics, ect.) and ashwaganda .

Thank you all! I just lost my job last week so going to a different dr will be difficult for now, but I’m going to look into it asap. I am currently seeing a therapist and CBT has helped quite a bit for some things that may be adhd related- (negative self talk, self harm, ect.) so hopefully that will continue to help. Thanks guys for all your input:)

I have had good luck with GABA and DMAE. I couldn’t take the meds the dr prescribed.

I may get bashed for this but if you truly want to try to do this naturally try to do some metal cleanses and other cleanses and see if they help. Young living has some really really great references! It may sounds silly but when my gut health is horrible I feel horrible.... when it's good I feel good. Have you talk to a natural Dr yet. They aren't covered by insurance because well...that's another conversation 🙄 but they are really awesome! If I could afford it I would 1000% go to one !

Following this! I tried Olly focus gummies after going off Strattera and they were good but haven't reordered... Trying mushroom coffee and really enjoying it.

CBT. CBT sounds really stupid and I myself thought for a long time it would never help me (I’ve tried so many apps that didn’t work…). But when I’ve begun using Ritalin, the results weren’t as high as expected, and I had a really hard time getting motivated because all of my hopes felt down due to the fact I used to think for a really long time Ritalin would have solved all my problems. But then, it was like an electroshock for me, because I realized I had to do a lot of efforts to improve my day-to-day life, and it’s finally at this moment that CBT worked (and I precise it worked at a moment I stopped taking medication). To be clear on Ritalin, this is a significant help, but it’s not a miracle, and needs concrete measures to truly improve our quality of life. And I’m not saying CBT is a miracle too, it’s just tools to be less disabled in our life, my life is still complicated! But well, don’t neglect CBT hacks (watch Numo little stories!) because it can be really useful. And I guess Ritalin have so much more effects when you start taking it after getting used to CBT hacks.

Get a new doctor. If it's about affordability, find out about what the public system can do to assist you. It's long and annoying, but worth it because you get the same specialists that you probably would have paid to see privately

Find a new doctor, sometimes natural remedies just don’t do it. And often depression and anxiety is exacerbated by undiagnosed and untreated ADHD, so saying it can’t be ADHD because of the depression/anxiety is kinda… bs. Ask for an assessment and if they deny assessing you for whatever reason, tell them to document the reason for denying your request for assessment.
