So for awhile now my ADHD has been very in my face or maybe I stopped

Being oblivious to it but now that I’m even more hyper aware and hyper focused on myself and my mannerism I couldn’t help but start relating deeply to a lot of people who deal with autism to some degree. But it’s now to the point where I’m actually taking a step back and looking even further within myself and wondering am I really just “quirky” like everyone calls me or have I been rizzing people with the tism? Anywho hope I’m not alone here I’m tired of feeling crazy and I feel very dismissed and no one will take me serious because I’m “high functioning” (their words not mine) lol so my question is has anyone else felt this way?

I used to think I was an extrovert because in my 20s I got sooo many friends (ohh ADHD), but then I went to a huge tech conference and had my first-ever panic attack because of how many people were talking to me. And recently, at a concert, I realized I don’t enjoy big crowds or standing so close to people anymore. It feels strange to question something I was so sure about.

I can literally feel crowds I have to be in or interact with somehow, draining my batteries 🪫🙈 I can manage to a certain point, but then I have to get away.

Yes. I really get this. The older I get, the more autistic traits I notice in myself. You’re not alone.

Yes precisely I used to be the life of the party I considered myself an extrovert as well and now later in my 20s I’m close to 30 I have realized I am actually introverted and get overstimulated easily and it can affect everything in my life in the moment
