How do I stop procrastinating?

There is a lot of work that I get from my teachers and they know I’m good at the lesson but I never get homework finished and they just get angry at me expecting I just decided not to do it. Even though I will have sat there for hours blankly staring at the work doing nothing. Any tips?

Focus mate is the only way I get anything done

I usually just sit in my office and sit there for 5hours realise I have done nothing but I do find being in a library helps a lot because I went to a library for one day and did more of my drama portfolio than I had done in the entire 4months I had already been working on it

I took a tech course recently and for my final project, I made a Pomodoro clock with the option to play the live Lo-fi girl stream. Works best on a computer and it’s not perfect but it works. https://bevomac.github.io/codemodoro/

maybe try the pomodoro technique or something like that. Like you could work for 10 minutes and take a break for 10 minutes. I always take so long to get into “the zone”.

When I went back to school a few years back, I found that working in an educational space like the library helps me set my intention. I listen to Lo-Fi beats on my headphones as well. (Rhythm w/o lyrics works best for me.) Do you have a dedicated space in your home for doing homework ?
