How do you push past the fear?

I do not understand why I have been procrastinating minor tasks that could actually mitigate my overall anxiety for months at this point. Whenever I’m in a situation where the outcome is uncertain (in its severity), I know procrastination will make it worse and ensure the outcome will be worse. Despite this, I still choose to procrastinate instead of ripping off the bandaid. Is there anything you would do to help you rip it off easily?

Perhaps a first step could validating your emotion of fear? I find that honoring the experience independently of its truthfulness or not helps me move forward.
