How much do you use AI?
I have a theory that many of the people on the cutting edge of AI use have ADHD and naturally gravitate to using it in ways that support there weakness and leverage their strengths. How much do you all use generative AI?

I have used it to help me process thoughts and emotions (using the KIN app), as well as help with spell checking and generating a new resume and cover letter, when my brain just could not process all of that overwhelm. BUT - I’m all for the health of the environment, and also not having the world taken over completely by robots in the future, so I try my best not to use it, if I can help it.
If I work alone on a project I use ChatGPT as a virtual coworker to brainstorm and bounce ideas back and forth. It’s amazing how powerful it has gotten in short time. The key, as in human interaction, is to work on your communication skills. If you learn to write effective prompts it turns out great results 🔥
In my professional opinion, this tool is highly beneficial for neurodivergent individuals, offering several advantages. Firstly, it facilitates the initiation of tasks, preventing individuals from becoming overwhelmed by high executive function demands. Secondly, it simplifies the process of breaking down complex information, reducing the need for excessive reading. Lastly, it enables individuals to multitask effectively while still receiving assistance in completing their tasks.
I'm using it all the time but I’m afraid of it being not so accurate and sometimes makes mistakes
I use Grammarly all the time. It really helped me with my last paper for school.
I find it helps with summarizing and extracting key points from articles for me
I love it really, I hope there will be more apps like Goblin Tools. Also chat GPT I use a lot. Now I don't have to think about what NT want me to do, I ask AI, do it (or not🫣) and use my brain for things I like😅
Hear hear. It’s great for refinement, presentation, and also teaching/learning but never assume it’s right. Read, understand, and most of all, fact check. Simple way to do this is ask where it found ‘x’ and to provide references and specific, unaltered context. The amount of times it then backtracks, apologising for the error is astonishing. It’s not a replacement for knowledge, but it’s a really useful tool for ironing out the creases in an ADHDers messy/disconnected/overly wordy essay, presentation or report.
I am a Data Scientist, therefore the latter of the four answers is true. But further to support your theory I have choosen the Analyst way especially due to the sheer ways I can programm something that analysises or support me in a kinda way that I feel is not shaming or „what a stupid question“ but more in a constructive way. For us ADHDler it is hard to ask a neurotypical for feedback for example due the fear of hard or rough answers, the AI simply doesnt do that. Or to correct a letter or writing. But the shadows of the AI use is the hallunizaton of the AI, sometimes every neuronal model, which are the backbone for most Deep Learning so called Services or better Assistants, are claim something that in fact isn‘t there.
